Three-Dimensional Elastic Biofilm Media for Wastewater Treatment – Applicable in Anaerobic, Aerobic & Anoxic Tanks

The three-dimensional elastic filler is manufactured from premium polyolefins and polyamide, offering a unique balance of rigidity and flexibility. Its filaments are arranged in an optimized three-dimensional radiating pattern, enabling uniform distribution throughout the tank. This structure allows thorough mixing and exchange among air, water, and biofilm.

The biofilm attaches evenly to every filament, maintaining high microbial activity and adaptability. It provides a large specific surface area for effective metabolic activity, ensuring efficient organic degradation. This filler offers rapid biofilm formation, easy biofilm shedding, excellent growth and renewal of biomass, high resistance to impact loads, and a high CODcr removal rate. It delivers outstanding treatment performance and enhances oxygenation through multi-level collision and intensive cutting of bubbles, significantly improving oxygen utilization efficiency.

Key oxygen transfer parameters—such as overall oxygen transfer coefficient, oxygenation capacity, and oxygenation efficiency—exceed those of other conventional fillers used in China, resulting in reduced power consumption. Its innovative design offers a high surface area, prevents clogging and agglomeration, and ensures a long service life with potential for reuse. It is easy to manage in operation and demonstrates strong adaptability, making it suitable for treating various wastewater types, including low-concentration domestic sewage, medium-concentration printing and dyeing wastewater, papermaking wastewater, oily wastewater, and high-concentration food industrial and chemical wastewater. It is widely used in aerobic, anoxic, and anaerobic treatment processes.
